Our internal Diversity Committee is proactive - working to recruit, develop, and retain diverse attorneys and staff. Our efforts include:
- Having firm attorneys serve as board members of various bar associations and organizations promoting diversity.
- Sponsoring professional internships in our offices for minority high school students.
- Co-sponsoring outside diversity events and job fairs.
- Working with the larger legal community to network and promote diversity goals and principles.
- Adopting firm policies allowing for more flexible schedules.
We recognize that the entire legal field, including Nossaman, still has a long way to go to achieve a highly diverse professional community. We know it is a worthwhile commitment that will add value to the firm and our clients, and we continue to explore ways to enhance our commitment.
